Dawnell Harrison- A Poem

Braided noise

Braided noise
In the twined night

Listens to forgotten
Feelings etched

Into the hunchbacked
Willow trees as their

Branches touch the tips
Of the ground.

Love stands true
In the wind-torn night

As the twisted trees
Lean in to hear

Soul’s murmurings
Slated for the evening’s
Long call.
